NATURAL Patterns : Plant

Between 2015 and 2018, I became drawn to creating works that connected closely with nature. I often found myself observing and recording the plants and flowers around me. What fascinated me most was the way branches, weeds, and vines overlapped—layer upon layer, forming patterns that seemed both intricate and mysterious. It always felt as though something was hidden inside, waiting to be discovered. There was a sense of curiosity in that moment, and I wished to step in and become part of this tangled, living world.**

*Looking back, it was also a challenging period in my practice. The works I created came directly from inner feelings, filtered through the visual memories I had gathered. Translating those impressions into paintings pushed me to explore the balance between observation, memory, and imagination. My fascination with natural patterns has stayed with me ever since, and continues to shape the way I create today.
